LuLu’s Kitchen is the headquarters for the culinary operations of St. Matthew’s House, a nonprofit providing services for the homeless, hungry and addicted. LuLu’s Kitchen is open to the public for breakfast and lunch Tuesday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. For those in a hurry, there is a drive-thru coffee and snack window (open from 6:30 a.m.). 

LuLu’s Kitchen is also the home to Delicious by Design catering; a culinary training program, and the feeding ministry of St. Matthew’s House.

LuLu’s Kitchen is part of the unique St. Matthew’s House social enterprise model which comprises, in addition to LuLu’s Kitchen, eight thrift stores, and Port LaBelle Inn & Retreat Center for corporate retreats.

The social enterprise model allows St. Matthew’s House to be self-sustaining by earning revenue to offset the organization’s overhead costs. The model means that every dollar donated to St. Matthew’s House goes directly to its mission-driven programs.
